Ms Loh Shu Ching is the Executive Director of the Division for Central Health (DCH) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). DCH is a newly formed division to support TTSH and its network of providers to serve the 1.4 million population within the central zone of Singapore.
She has more than 20 years of healthcare experience, with 9 of these in the Community Care sector. She started her career in the healthcare industry with TTSH where she rotated through various administrative and operational units including Medical Records, Case Management and Inpatient and Community Operations.
She was seconded to the Home Nursing Foundation (HNF), a non-profit organisation, as its General Manager in April 2009. At HNF, she initiated HNF’s partnership with GPs to provide multidisciplinary home care services.
In 2011, she became the CEO of Ren Ci Hospital. Ren Ci Hospital is a multi-service provider in the community that runs a Community (Rehab) Hospital, a Chronic Sick unit, Nursing Homes, and Day Care Centres. During her 7 year tenure, Ren Ci doubled its bed capacity, expanded its services with 2 new nursing homes and 3 Senior Care / Day Centres, and strengthened its partnership with TTSH.
Shu Ching obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in History from the National University of Singapore and a Masters of Arts in Healthcare Administration from the University of Iowa.
