Assoc Prof Tan Bhing Leet is the Programme Director of Occupational Therapy and Deputy Cluster Director of Health and Social Sciences at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). Prior to this appointment, she served as the Head of the Occupational Therapy Department at the Institute of Mental Health for 11 years. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a PhD in Psychiatry, and also has a Masters in Mental Health from Kings College London and BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from University of Exeter, UK.

A/P Tan was accorded the National Day Award Commendation Medal in 2011 and National Healthcare Group (NHG) Allied Health Educator Award-Senior Educator Category in 2015. Her research interests are in the areas of cognitive rehabilitation and recovery in mental health.
