Thurga Rajendran is a nursing lecturer with the School of Health Sciences at Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), Singapore. Formerly an orthopaedic nurse in a local ortho-surgical unit at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), Ms Rajendran has over a decade of experience in clinical practice and education. In her current educator role, she teaches and leads various nursing modules such as Nursing Skills Laboratory and Integrated Nursing Sciences. She is a Clinical Practice Co-ordinator for Year 3 students enrolled in the course, and is a mentor to students completing their final year internship in the hospital. She is also pursuing her Master in Education (Curriculum and Teaching) at the National Institute of Education (NIE), led by her passion to contribute towards holistic nursing pedagogy to best prepare our nurses of tomorrow.
