Ms Rosemary Soong has been with the National Healthcare Group, Singapore since 2010. She is appointed as Chief Human Resource Officer at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore from March 2023. Prior to her current role, she held appointments as the Director at Group HR, NHG, managing the Compensations and Benefits, Policy, Industrial Relations, Talent Management, Staff Well Being and Projects portfolios from 2019 till 2023, as the Head of Human Resource with National Skin Centre from 2015 till 2018, and as the Director, Institute of Healthcare Leadership, NHG College from 2014 till 2015. Rosemary was instrumental in building the talent management, scholarships and awards functions. She contributed to the launch of the 4P7R in our early journey towards population health, and partnered various stakeholders to recognise the Pioneer Generation, to spearhead support for staff well-being, and to launch the NHG new suite of uniform. She is an advocate for fair total rewards and good industrial relations, contributing in Ministry/Cluster level workgroups in areas relating to HR, compensation, industrial relations, and staff welfare matters. Her industry exposure includes myriad of business/experience in start-ups, restructuring, merger & acquisition, total revamp of HR operations and cessation of operations.
