Sebastian Seet is a clinical supervisor with ClubHeal. He has a master’s level education in social science (counselling) and a physical fitness instructor. He has been a professional counsellor since 1995. His education and professional background in both the mind and the body gives him unique and effective approach to counselling. He works to provide clients with tailored treatment plans that can be integrated into their daily lives. He has experience treating adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns. In the past and at Clubheal, he has years of experiences providing behaviour modification, counselling to clients experiencing emotional, behavioural difficulties and mental health issues. He conducts psychoeducation for ClubHeal’s counsellors, clients, caregivers, students, teachers and public in general. He has helped persons with severe mental illness achieve the highest possible quality of life, recovery and maximum community integration. Restored persons with psychiatric disabilities to optimal states of constructive activity by means of counselling. As for people with disabilities, his support and intervention are to enable individuals to compensate for, or eliminate the functional deficits, interpersonal barriers and environmental barriers created by the disability, and to restore ability for independent living, socialization and effective life management.
