Adjunct Assistant Professor Ng Chong Jin is the head, clinical director and senior consultant in the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. His interest is in cognition, advance care planning and medical education. He is a core faculty member of NHG GRM senior residency programme. National Advance Practitioner Nurse committee and NHG Residency Grievance Review Committee. He has won many accolades, such as the NHG Teaching Award for Senior Doctors, Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine Role Model Award. In 2017, he was conferred the HMDP Scholarship in Dementia Neurology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He co-authors research papers in local and international medical journals, and appraises peer-reviewed journals and Alexandra Health Enabling Grants. He has presented at local, regional and international research conferences. His passion in clinical quality improvement has led him to receive the NHG Team Recognition Award and Excellence in Action Award.
