Associate Professor Ding is a geriatrician practicing at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Beyond patient care, he conducts health services and implementation research that seeks to influence practice and policy for older adults. His substantive research interests include frailty, intrinsic capacity, and geriatric care models, while methodological interests are quantitative methods for observational studies, program evaluation, and implementation science. He studied public health and social research methods at University of Queensland and London School of Economics. He also underwent research fellowships at Bedford Veterans Affairs Center for Health Quality, Outcomes & Economic Research in Massachusetts, USA, and Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Toronto, Canada. In addition, he supports evidence-informed policy making and teaches at NUS and NTU medical schools.
