Dr. Lim is a Clinician Scientist and Senior Consultant at the Admiralty Diabetes Centre of the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH).

He is also the Clinical Director, Clinical Research Unit at KTPH, Research Associate Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, and Associate Professor (Clinical Practice) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technology University.
