RJ is an Associate Partner at CDG Architects with a decade of experience in residential, commercial, retail and hospitality projects. He has worked on high-profile local projects like the Raffles Hotel conservation A&A, as well as serving in the role of Senior Designer for numerous commercial and retail developments like Republic Plaza Asset Enhancement (AEI) and Aperia Mall AEI. Concurrently, RJ serves as an Associate Faculty in Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) teaching interdisciplinary design innovation – guiding teams comprised of students from various disciplines to realise innovative project outcomes through the Design Thinking process, as well as sharing about design innovation with companies like Jewel Changi Airport. Prior to a mid-career switch to architecture, RJ served as an Air Warfare Officer at RSAF for 12 years in command, staff, training and leadership-development roles.
