Tan Wan Yun is a Life Sciences and Psychology graduate from National University of Singapore (NUS) who has recently embarked on her career as a Management Associate at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Currently working at the Nursing Innovation Bunch, she is excited to partake in various innovation-related initiatives to enhance healthcare services and process quality. Throughout her student journey, Wan Yun had pursued internships in the environmental discipline. This includes her internship with the National Parks Board where she was actively involved in species recovery efforts of several critically endangered species, as well as her internship with the Alliance to End Plastic Waste where she managed strategic partnerships and collaboration across 70 industry partners globally. With a heart and passion to serve the community, Wan Yun has been actively engaged in volunteer work to promote social welfare. As the Secretary of NUS Science Volunteer Corps and the Chairperson of several student-led projects, she helmed events for beneficiaries such as the Young Women’s Christian Association of Singapore and the Bone Marrow Donor Programme. Wan Yun’s passion for the environment and sustainability has also led her to spearhead several environmental projects involving eco-enterprises and community partners in the local environmental scene. Wan Yun’s experiences in research, leadership and volunteer work demonstrate her dedication to create positive impact to the society. As she embarks on her career in the healthcare industry, she is committed to learn from various healthcare leaders and contribute to the enhancement of population health.
