Joanna Lee is a Senior Nurse Educator at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) with 23 years of nursing experience and 12 years of experience as a Nurse Educator, she has developed a deep understanding of nursing education and the evolving needs of healthcare professionals. Her current role as a co-lead of the education department’s digital transformation team allows her to apply her skills and knowledge to meet the digital education needs. One of Joanna’s main responsibilities is to examine various digital teaching pedagogies and determine how it can be integrated into the hospital’s current approach to digitalization. By staying up to date with the latest digital tools and technology, Joanna is also an active member of the Nursing Innovation Bunch (NIB). NIB will learn and grow together with the nurses. This group focuses on driving an innovation and creativity culture. Nurture project ownership, instill creative confidence and foster collective leadership. Joanna collaborates with other nurses and healthcare professionals to facilitate brainstorm ideas, problem-solving approaches, and support the implementation of new ideas and prototypes. Being a part of NIB allows Joanna to gain valuable experience throughout the entire innovation journey, from idea to value creation. Overall, Joanna’s experience and active involvement in digital transformation and innovation initiatives highlight her dedication to advancing healthcare education and improving patient outcomes.
