Beng Seng is the Group Director in the Ministry of Health (MOH) overseeing subsidy and subvention policies for healthcare services, MOH corporate finance, private healthcare sector policy and partnerships, and management of healthcare costs. Prior to joining MOH in Aug 2014, Beng Seng served in various government agencies working on different issues such as social bonding, pension policy, sea transport, trade, and more.

Beng Seng serves on the Board of the Public Utilities Board. He is also Chairman of the PUB Consultants Pte Ltd.

In his personal capacity, Beng Seng is the Vice-President of the Catholic Business Network, a Caritas member organization. He is also a member of the Southeast Community Development Council.

Beng Seng read Economics at the London School of Economics, and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He received the Public Administration Medal, Silver PPA(P) in 2013. Beng Seng is married with 3 kids.
