Dr Yang is a principal psychologist and clinical lead for psychology and related programs, collaborative projects and research at the Pain Management Clinic (PMC) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). She also holds a content expert and clinical facilitator position at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Dr Yang is one of the privileged few to have been awarded full sponsorship for both her UK-based Masters and PhD studies. Dr Yang was awarded her PhD in Academic Studies (Health Psychology) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London in 2016. In the same year, she was also accepted as a Chartered Health Psychologist by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Dr Yang is a registered psychologist and an approved clinical supervisor by the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). She has published articles in both health magazines and international journals, and has peer reviewed articles for journal publication. She has also co-published a book chapter on psychological treatments for painful diabetic neuropathy (PDN). Dr Yang has a special interest in healthcare innovations and is part of the co-learning faculty for the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) as well as an active member for the Serious Games Unit (SGU) at TTSH.
