Dr Sharon Yeo obtained her medical degree and Master of Medicine (Surgery) at National University of Singapore. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK and a certified specialist in Urology and a Fellow of Academy of Medicine Singapore.
She is currently a consultant urologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and is a recipient of Ministry of Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship and completed a Fellowship in Female Urology, Neuro-urology, Urodynamics and Reconstructive Surgery at the renowned Bristol Urological Institute, United Kingdom, under Professors Paul Abrams, Marcus Drake and Dr Hashim Hashim.
Dr Yeo leads the new multidisciplinary Pelvic Floor Service in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, for Voiding dysfunction and Incontinence in both male and female patients. She also leads the hospital’s Urodynamics service and the Urology clinic atAMK Thye Hua Kwan Hospital for spinal cord injury patients and patients with neurogenic causes for lower urinary tract dysfunction.
Dr Yeo is a Clinical Lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. She is active in academia and research, and has published on her interest in Overactive Bladder Syndrome and Incontinence topics in medical journal and health magazines. She has also presented studies in various overseas conferences. She is active in patient and medical education and has spoken in many bilingual public and GP forums on urological topics. She is currently a research investigator involved in international multi-center clinical research trials.
Dr Yeo is a member of the International Continence Society and Singapore Urology Association.
