Dr Serena Low

Dr Serena Low is currently a Consultant with the KTPH Clinical Research Unit (CRU). She received her medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2002. She continued her studies in public health and graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health from the University of London in 2007 and Diploma in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2008. She completed her Advanced Specialty Training in Public Health in 2010 and is currently pursuing a PhD (Medicine) with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine since 2019.

Dr Low has a strong research interest in diabetes and its complications. She is the winner of AFES Best Poster Presentation (Diabetes Category), AFES Investigator Award and Best Oral Presentation Award at 18th, 19th and 20th Biennial Scientific Meeting of the ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies held in 2015, 2017 and 2019 respectively. She also featured her work as an invited speaker at the International Diabetes Federation Congress in 2019.
