Joseph completed his fellowship in United Kingdom, training at both Leeds General Infirmary and St Thomas Hospital (London), with also a visiting fellowship at Kings College Hospital Diabetic Foot Clinic (London). He serves on the board of the Chapter of General Surgeons, College of Surgeons (Singapore) and is currently the Secretary of the Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons of Singapore. He is currently a NHG-LKC Clinician-Scientist Fellow with research interests in wound care, diabetic limb salvage, iliac venous disease, artificial intelligence, health economics and renal vascular access. He had been awarded the Society of Vascular Surgery International Scholars Program and NMRC Research Training Fellowship in 2020. Joseph firmly believes in diabetic limb salvage as a multi-disciplinary effort across both primary and tertiary care, aided by the use of technology and health service delivery innovations.
