Dr Alvin Tan Chin Kwong is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. As an Adult Reconstruction Hip and Knee Surgeon, he performs primary, complex and revision hip and knee replacement. In addition, he has a special interest in computer aided and robotic joint replacements as well as minimally invasive joint replacement surgeries. 

Dr Tan chairs the multidisciplinary workgroup in the hospital looking transforming the experience of patients undergoing joint replacements in the hospital. Together with allied health and medical colleagues, and through a systemic approach towards Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) , they seek to create a process where the patient can extract the most benefit from their new prosthetic joint and with high satisfaction rates.
