Endean’s main clinical duties include diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical diseases in the inpatient and outpatient setting. He has a special interest in Acute Medicine and is the founder and Head of the Acute Internal Medicine Service in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. The unit, established in 2016, takes care of patients with acute medical conditions admitted to the Division of Medicine and has a strong focus on inter-disciplinary care and collaboration.
Endean is also responsible for the delivery of medical education to local and overseas under- and postgraduates, and is an examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing programmes in NUS, NTU and the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom.
Outside Medicine, Endean is keenly interested in running, Aikido, sailing, computer programming, the law, astrophysics and advanced mathematics.
