Dr. Konstadina Griva is the Leader of Renal Biopsychosocial Program of the Centre of Population Health Sciences, at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is also the President of Society of Behavioural Health Singapore and Honorary Fellow of the European Health Psychology Society (F EHPS). Her work evaluates the role of biobehavioral, and psychosocial mechanisms underlying disease and health outcomes, and the effectiveness of evidence-based psychosocial interventions in supporting better engagement, optimal management and health outcomes in chronic kidney disease, diabetes and cancer. She is certified Motivational Interviewing Trainer, invested in delivery and implementation of patient empowerment in health organizations to improve care, engagement and working environment for care teams.
