David is a consultant family physician with Toa Payoh Polyclinic. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004. He passed his Masters of Medicine in Family Medicine in 2011, and was awarded the Family Physician Gold Medal for distinction in the examinations that year. He was conferred a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians in 2014.
In 2013, David was asked to form the pilot team to experiment with new methods of care delivery which have accelerated the spread of team based care in NHGP.
Apart from his current role as clinic head of Toa Payoh Polyclinic, David is also actively involved in teaching, research and quality improvement initiatives, which have been presented at local as well as international conferences. He also has an interest in the care of the elderly in primary care, and is actively involved in several initiatives related to delivering better care for the elderly.
