When is the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress 2021?

Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress is a 2 days virtual event and will be held on 07 – 08 October 2021 (Thursday & Friday)

Who is the organiser for Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress 2021?

Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress (SHBC) is the flagship congress for the National Healthcare Group (NHG).

Who is the secretariat for Singapore health and biomedical congress 2021?

The Special Events team from the NHG Group Education Department is the main Secretariat team for SHBC annually.

When is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline is 2 September 2021, Thursday, 2359hrs.

Where do I find the login details to the virtual platform?

Registered delegates will receive your login details to the virtual platform approximately two weeks before the event date.

Can I share the login details of the virtual platform?

No, registered delegates agree not to share, give, or provide the login details for the virtual platform to anyone.

Registration
Is there other form of registration instead of online registration?

Only online registration is acceptable. 

Can I register on the event day itself?

No congress registration will be available on event date/s.

Are The Prices Fixed?

7% Goods and Services Tax (GST) and 3% administrative fees (credit card charges for online registrations only) need to be included for the stated registration rates. Only VISA and Mastercard payment is accepted.

I AM A NHG STAFF, HOW DO I REGISTER?
  • Please seek your Reporting Officer’s approval before registering for SHBC 2021.
  • All payment will be coordinated through your HR representatives thus no up-front payment is needed from you.

Cancellation and Refund
Can I cancel my registration?
  • Notice of cancellation must be emailed to the SHBC Secretariat by 2 September 2021, Thursday, 2359hrs, at SHBC_Secretariat@nhg.com.sg.
  • Only fifty percent (50%) of the registration fees (not inclusive of administrative and GST charges) will be refunded for cancellations made on or before 2 September 2021. Refunds will be subjected to an administrative charge and/or charges will be borne by the delegates.
  • Cancellations received after 2 September 2021, and ‘No-Shows’ will not qualify for refunds and the delegates remain liable for the full registration fee of S$250.00 (not inclusive of GST charges).
  • Delegates are to ensure that they have received an acknowledgement of their cancellation from the SHBC Secretariat. Delegates are to check their spam/junk folder in case any emails from the SHBC Secretariat are being caught by the spam filter.
What if the event is cancelled?

All pre-paid fees will be refunded directly to the delegate upon proof of payment if the cancellation is due to a force majeure event. Organiser is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.

 

 

When will I receive my refund?
  • Refunds will be issued approximately 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of the congress.

Substitution Policy
What if I am unable to attend either 1 or 2 days of the congress, may I send a substitute?
  • Registered delegates who are unable to attend the Congress may send an alternate colleague, for a one-for-one substitution from the same department, of the same registration category and fees at no extra cost.
  • No extra cost will be charged if the request for substitution is received before 2 September 2021 or in the same pricing pricing category. Changes outside these examples will be subjected to a fee of Singapore Dollars Forty (S$40.00) only.
  • All substitution requests with full name and contact details must be emailed to the SHBC Secretariat by 2 September 2021, Thursday, 2359 hrs.
  • Request for transfers of registration will not be granted on the event day/s.
I have registered for 2 days congress, however I am not able to make it on one of the days, can I transfer my registration to another person on the day that I am not able to attend?

No, SHBC 2021 registrations are non-transferable and must be used by the registered delegate only.

Private Policy
What information does Organiser need during the registration?

In order for delegates to have a smooth registration process and to allow the Organiser to assist if there are any enquiries or issues that arises, the registration information needed are the delegate’s first name, surname, Staff ID, Profession, Designation, Department, MCR/SNB/PRN number, Organisation, Institution, Institution Address, Business Email Address, Contact number (Office) and Credit Card Information. (Credit card information is only need during online payment)

Will our information be protected?

Yes, the Organiser is committed to protect the privacy of delegate’s information and will not disclose it to third party unless under limited circumstances (Please refer to the Terms and Condition).
