In the current digital health era, healthcare professionals in recent years have been exploring the use of these enabling technologies to facilitate healthcare delivery. However, some wonder whether they will be in danger of being replaced by these technologies as they potentially can fulfill some of the “work” duties of healthcare support staff and even direct patient care due to the ability to “diagnose through algorithms” or “treat through focused intervention instructions”. The speakers in this track are all domain experts in their field, either in public institutions or the private setting and all of them have interest or are generating business through the use of these digital health technologies. They will share their experiences on whether it enhances their work or potentially “threatens their existence”.
