Time: 0830 – 1000hrs
Venue: Peridot 204
In line with the theme of SHBC 2017, “Transforming Our Health Ecosystem”, the Health Professions Education Symposium aims to bring together educators from the medical, nursing and allied health fields to network and discuss the latest trends and innovations in the realm of health professions education.
The invited speakers will share their insights on topics relevant to the evolving Healthcare Ecosystem. Be prepared for a diverse variety of presentations, ranging from the on-site evaluations of team-based resuscitation conducted by military healthcare personnel, to the development of a new mobile application for resident assessments and evaluation, to improving the engagement of nursing students during their primary care postings.
In addition, all presentations will be delivered in a unique, fast-paced “PechaKucha” style (where 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each), creating a dynamic and vibrant environment in which a large number of ideas can be exchanged and showcased within a short period of time.
