Dr Darren Seah is a Senior Consultant Family Physician at the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics (NHGP). He graduated from NUS in 2001 and was conferred the Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians (Singapore) in 2011. He is Director, Family Medicine Development Department in National Healthcare Group Polyclinics. He practices primary care medicine 1-2 days a week at Hougang Polyclinic. His main clinical interests lie in Diabetes and Cardiovascular medicine. He is a member of the NHG Diabetes and Metabolic Steering Committee and helps oversee Diabetes data registry development for NHG. He is actively involved in diabetes research trials in primary care. He was Program Director of the NHG Family Medicine Residency Program from June 2013 to June 2020 and continues to train Family Medicine residents as a faculty member. He is concurrently Regional Director (Central Health), NHGP and helps to provide oversight for clinical integration work between NHGP and partnering institutions in Central Health Region.
