When is the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress 2018?

Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress is a 2.5 days event and will be held on 25 – 27 October 2018.

Where will the congress be held?

This year, it will be held in two separate venues.

When is the registration deadline?
The Registration Deadline is  26 September 2018, Wednesday, 2359hrs.
Where do I pick up my badge?

If you are pre-registered delegates, you will receive your badge via email approximately two weeks before the congress. Alternatively, you can login to your account and retrieve your badge. Please print your badge and collect your lanyard at the registration counter.

Can I bring a spouse or guest to the program?
Yes, however spouses and guests must register for the congress to attend the program.
Will lunch be provided?
Yes, lunch as well as coffee and tea break will be provided (where applicable).

REGISTRATION
Is there other form of registration instead of online registration?
Only online registration is acceptable. However, delegates who missed the online registration are able to register onsite.
How do I register onsite?
For delegates who wish to register onsite must register directly at the venue on 25 – 27 October 2018.Onsite fees is applicable.Prices not inclusive of 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST) and 4% administrative fees (Credit Card charges).Travel arrangement and accommodation is not included. Payment accepted via Cash, VISA and MasterCard Only.
Are The Prices Fixed?

I AM A NHG STAFF, HOW DO I REGISTER?
  • Please seek your Reporting Officer’s approval before registering for SHBC 2018.
  • All payment will be coordinated through your HR representatives thus no up-front payment is needed from you.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Can I cancel my registration?
  • Yes, a notice of cancellation must be emailed to the Congress Secretariat by 5 September 2018, Wednesday, 2359hrs at SHBC_Secretariat@nhg.com.sg.
  • Cancellations received after 5 September 2018, and ‘No-Shows’ will not qualify for refunds and the delegates remain liable for the full registration fee.
  • The full registration fees are as such (not inclusive of GST charges) :

    Full 2.5 Day – 25 Oct , 26 Oct AND 27 Oct $600.00
    Full 2 Day – 25 Oct AND 26 Oct $480.00
    Full Daily Pass – 25 Oct OR 26 Oct $240.00
    Per Half Day Pass $140.00
  • Delegates are to ensure that they have received an acknowledgement of their cancellation from the Congress Secretariat
  • Refunds will be issued approximately 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of the congress

Will I get my refund if I cancel my registration?
Yes, Fifty percent (50%) of the registration fees only (not inclusive of administrative and GST charges) will be refunded for cancellations made on or before 5 September 2018, Wednesday, 2359hrs. Refunds will be subject to an administrative charge and/or charges be borne by the delegates.
What if the event is cancelled?
All pre-paid fees will be refunded direct to the delegate upon proof of payment if the cancellation is due to a force majeure event. Organizer is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.
When will i receive my refund?
Refunds will be issued approximately 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of the congress.

 

SUBSTITUTION POLICY
What if I am unable to attend either 1 or 2 days of the congress, may I send a substitute?
  • Registered delegates who are unable to attend the Congress, may send an alternative person, for a one-for –one substitution.
  • All substitution requests must email to the Congress Secretariat by 5 September 2018, Wednesday, 2359hr sat SHBC_Secretariat@nhg.com.sg .No extra cost will be charged unless substitution requests received after 5 September 2018 or of different category pricing.
  • Substitution requests received after 5 September 2018, Wednesday, 2359hrs or for any onsite substitution will be subjected to an administrative fee of $40.00.
  • Delegates agree not to share, give, or otherwise provide the badge to anyone. SHBC registrations must be used by the registered delegate only. No exception will be made to this policy.

I have registered for 3 days of the congress, however i am not able to make it on one of the days, can i transfer my registration to another person on the day that i am not able to attend?
No, SHBC 2018 registrations are non-transferable and must be used by the registered delegate only. All substitution requests must email to the Congress Secretariat by 5 September 2018, Wednesday, 2359hrs,at SHBC_Secretariat@nhg.com.sg. No extra cost will be charged unless substitution requests received after 5 September 2018 or of different category pricing.

 

PRIVATE POLICY

What information does Organiser need during the registration?
In order for delegates to have a smooth registration process and to allow Organiser to assist if there are any enquiries or issues pertaining to registration, information needed may be the delegate’s first name, surname, NRIC, Staff ID, Profession, Designation, Department, MCR/SNB/PRN number, Organisation, Institution, Institution Address, Email Address, Contact number (Office and Mobile) and Credit Card Information. (Credit Card Information for payment)
Will our information be protected?
Yes, the Organiser of this event is committed to protect the privacy of delegate’s information and will not disclose it to third party unless under limited circumstances (Please refer to the Terms and Condition).
